Why can’t we just pronounce it Wodan’s Day?

ISBN: 978-1-78664-556-2
It’s a collection of multiple stories on that topics, by various authors. If you like, then I could take a photo of the list of contents.A part of Dracula (I don’t think you need an ISBN for that 😅) also takes place at sea, but I can recommend the whole book. There is also a movie that focuses on that part, it’s called The Last Voyage of the Demeter, but I haven’t seen it yet. (I just noticed that the ratings aren’t that good…)
Recently I watched The Lighthouse which is quite something… Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for, but definitely dark fantasy.
Personally I prefer the right one, but I like everything darker.
Are you asking us because you don’t know which one you like more? A trick that might work is throwing a coin and then seeing if you’re disappointed with the result. (I’m not joking!)

Memes@lemmy.ml•This means it's two times as efficent isn't it?
6·5 months agoIt looks like a Gen 2 Prius, quite accurate for my untrained eye. Maybe AI is already advanced enough to get a specific model right, I don’t follow that trend to know that well enough. Could also be a simple Photoshop or a funny Panorama shot coincidence.

5·5 months agoI assume the middle door was straight, without that weird diagonal part that is pictured here, right?
For me and my friends it would be a bunch of small close islands, and then one larger community island in the middle.
I’m thinking something like in Sweden’s Skärgård, where there are lots of such islands.
No, you mean Ford. Fraud is the German word for “woman”.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•I have this t-shirt. Who's tour was this?
2·8 months agoI’m not from US.
Wow interesting! But did you get the shirt in the US, or was that somewhere else too?
I find it really fascinating that this shirt clearly meant a lot to someone, so they kept it all these years, but then still decided to get rid of it, yet without just thrashing it, AND then even in a different country/continent!
(I hope they didn’t just forget it in a hotel, which then decided to make a few bucks…)

Does it come in a jar or two cups?
