Apologies, you’re correct the Wrangler is a plug-in hybrid and the Wagoneer is the electric model.

The EV Jeep Wrangler is also interesting. They advertise it much different than I’m used to seeing most electric vehicles advertised. Instead of focusing on being environmentally friendly, not using gas, or being a tech-forward car they instead advertise that you can maximize power output to all wheels while off-roading. But I suppose this is just the natural progression of the electric car… Start niche and then expand.
I actually think it’s fun now that electric vehicles are picking up that we can now have ridiculous cars like the Hummer again. I remember when the Hummer was popular and people would buy them and then quickly realize it wasn’t worth the gas it would suck down. My uncle had the same realization with the jeep wrangler around the same time. But now more of these cars are electric so you can get your big beefy weefy mobile and not have to worry so much about the gas anymore. As much as I wouldn’t get one myself, I welcome the return of the Hummer.
The feeling is even better when they let you go because you no longer have a moral obligation to transition anything over to your coworkers. You can just fuck off and not feel bad. This typically highlights all the holes in management when they are ineffective at delegating your tasks and things get dropped. My husband witnessed this happen recently. They let an employee go nearly a year ago, then a client started sending emails wondering what was happening to their project and why there hadn’t been communication.
I second the freezer meals! What I like to do is make things that I can make a very large batch of to make food prep easier when I want a quick healthy meal. My favorites to make are chicken pot pie, pesto, kale pesto, pulled pork (not healthy), and falafel. All of these things take lots of time and or ingredients. So when you make them, you make a big massive batch and then divide them into meal portions for freezing. This way all I have to do is grab 1 portion of say pot pie, thaw it out in hot water or in the fridge the day before, pop it in the oven with some pie crust or crescent rolls on top for 25 min and BAM, I’m eating stuff from my garden in the middle of winter with little to no effort!
I LOVE this sweet potato and peanut stew we found. We originally tried it when looking for easy camping meals, but it’s so good we just keep making it. I’m not even vegan, but it’s so hearty and filling. People we make it for often ask if we’re sure there’s no meat in it. Best part is it only takes 30 minutes to make and uses relatively cheap ingredients. I like to add extra kale to make it thicker and make some wheat rolls to go with it: https://www.freshoffthegrid.com/sweet-potato-and-peanut-stew/#recipe
Tests bar by ordering an old fashioned. Receives old fashioned with muddled cherry/orange and several ice cubes. ಠ_ಠ
I’ve had a different but similar issue. I have a VPN I log into so I can remotely access my work computer. If the VPN is on, YouTube won’t show me specific content that I know is usually there. It doesn’t tell me I can’t watch anything or tell me to turn it off, but some content is just missing 🤷
6th grade health teacher told the class that studies show evidence of increased breast cancer risk for those that have had an abortion. This was in a suburban Illinois school.
This is a common misconception. Not that I’m trying to get anyone to purchase one, but they are the most affordable electric vehicle on the market. I just bought a Prius last year and it was more expensive than their Tesla. They maybe could have bought a GMC or something, but part of this is that they wanted to be done with constantly fiddling with a shitty car. By saving a bit longer, they have achieved this and I don’t blame them.
I couldn’t have said it better. I feel terrible for my parents right now. They bought a Tesla a few years ago. A good portion of my teen and early adulthood was spent going to the junkyard to get parts or spending hours trying to revive a part we couldn’t replace because we had no other choice. I was so happy when they were finally able to get a new car for the first time in 30 years. It wasn’t what I would buy, but my dad has always been a tech nerd and this was his dream car. Now they’re scared to visit me in the city because someone might scratch a swastika into their car that they’re now embarrassed to drive.
I got in trouble for not singing during rehearsal for our 2nd grade Christmas concert. I remember this because I was definitely singing and it’s the first time I can remember getting in trouble for something I didn’t do and having no power to do anything about it. I actually love singing so much that I ended up singing in any group I could join in highschool and college. Really though, that teacher just didn’t like me very much 🫤
This is why I think it’s important to stoop to their level and start spreading childish rumors about them.
✔️ Not inciting violence
✔️ Not illegal
✔️ Not significant enough for them to claim defamation
✔️ Makes them far too angry for how petty it is on account of their extremely low emotional intelligence
For example: JD Vance only eats the cat food part of lucky charms pass it on
Another example: JD Vance says he’s sorry after cumming pass it on
Just one more for good measure: JD Vance puts his cast iron in the dishwasher pass it on
According to both websites I bought from, the shelf life is 2 years.
Reposting my comment from another thread:
For anyone that needs this information, you can (currently) order abortion medicine (mifepristone and misoprostol) online in any state. I did it a few days ago and it was stupid easy to do. I’m not pregnant, but I wanted to order some as a just-in-case for myself or others.
The Plan C website has a great list of websites you can order from if you’re not pregnant. It costs about $150 and some offer financial assistance if you need it. But please do it NOW while you still can.
I ordered one from Aid access and one from safe choice. Both asked a few questions that didn’t ask for personal information or ID. They mostly just need an email, address to send it, and a credit/debit card to pay.
Good luck out there everyone.
I prefer the one that calls him a pedo. But who knows? I heard he brushes his teeth using milk to rinse. Guess we’ll never know?
Just saw Elephant Man at the Music Box Theatre. Incredibly moving film if you haven’t seen it. They’re currently running a film series on David Lynch and that was the first of his films I had ever seen. Planning to see more this week if I can!
