In all fairness, the US had defunct laws from the 1700 on the books no one bothered to repeal… guess which laws will now be used by the Trump administration.

The fact these laws where still on the books just proves their point… they will just now eliminate laws they don’t like… like child labor laws.

Well the situation was much more complex than any 1 video makes clear. Apparently at some point small groups of shits where using hit and run tactics on the Maccabi supporters/hooligans on mopeds and bikes… attacking Maccabi supporters that got isolated from the group, this caused the Maccabi supporters to bunch up like they did. So you see the large group of the Maccabi people, but hardly see the small groups that attack them. At one point the Maccabi people run towards a small group in an alley… it’s not clear if they got to them.

The police had a hard time getting a handle on the small hit and run groups so they rounded up the maccabi people and ushered them to the hotels.

The whole thing seems to have started with the macabbi fans ripping down the Palestinian flag at a building and throwing stones through the windows, but that’s not clear at the moment.

The incident with the cab drivers also seems to have more to it, with a cab driver mistreating macabbi fans, leading to macabbi fans retaliating and then cab drivers organizing against the macabbi people.

It’s a real shit show of escalation… but the videos are not showing everything. The police is still combing through days worth of footage from public cams, doorbells, mobile phones. The police also has phone dumps and telegram chats where the anti macabbi side was organizing something that escalated to being referred to as Jew hunts… So there is that.

In the end the macabbi people are back home and in the Netherlands we are left with the shambles of this nonsense and a highly polarized debate.

It’s not helpful to act or propagate the story that any of the 2 parties where the victim and the other the agressor… as past some point they are all wrong, all assholes and we can only hope that ALL people involved in instigation are punished for what they did.

Biden is going to do nothing. If anything he has been dragging this conflict out.

Trump will sell out Ukraine on day 1… Or (cope) maybe now he’s in a place where he can get out from under Putin… if this is really just sex tapes and some shady business dealings… who cares right.

If the French justice system fails as abysmally as the US justice system at providing ANY form of real consequences than the whole thing is a nothing burger like all the charges against trump.

If it was soooooooo important, he would have been thrown in jail, publicly prosecuted and executed for treason… and he was not. No, the Democratic party ran a candidate that wanted to keep the status quo in a period the whole country needed change.

Yes the US is absolutely the 500 pound gorilla in the room, but if the US manages to burn their relations with their allies, and stuff like 5 eyes would cease, they are essentially blind. The US operates it’s intelligence network at the behest of countries and relies on information sharing just as much.

And with Iran and a LOOOOONG list of groups and people and countries they fucked over, angered, bombed, etc… the US will not see the next 9/11 coming.

The US has a lot of capabilities, but if a group of radicals manage to hijack several planes and bring down your new York landmark and damage the Pentagon, just imagine what better organized and equipped players can do.

Oh, and NATO operates primarily US weaponry, this also has a reason. If the US withdraws from NATO I think we will see cancelled orders and an orders placed elsewhere… within NATO member states.
