I don’t think they mean brainwashing like a scientific technique to wipe your mind, but their are countless examples of a person in a cult or church or radical group where the constant bombardment of propeganda and apparent correctness ( by number of believers ) alters the persons belief system.

Yeah, should have been more descriptive. I have purchased smokers homes. Getting walls and ceiling clean was a nightmare. The Ralph Lauren paints was part of their antiquing collection?? I believe. It had various types like heavy smoke, light smoke and nicotene. They were sort of a translucent after finish you applied. They would not give the stickiness of nicotene tar, but give the yellowed over layer. You could paint on thick, but it looked like many used the spray on and dab off, to get either smoke or nicotene accumulation at corners and have general wall the chosen colour. It found it hilarious that people would be spending top dollar on Ralph Lauren with purpose of making your wallpaper or painted wall look dirty. But maybe it got used to remodel heritage homes or movie sets to get the era right.
Went to my dads work, and at the time our school still used punch cards and ditto machines a lot, and my dad’s work had a photocopier (WOW!) that he gave me free reign on. I photocopied a bunch of images onto transparencies , then arranged those on top of each other for some final copies. It was like building an image in Photoshop with layers, at a time when graphic art would have been 100% manual cutting an pasting of actual paper and vinyl tape spools. Pretty awesome day.
People’s intrusive thoughts can vary greatly from things like suicidal ideation, thoughts of swerving into oncoming traffic, inappropriate sexual stuff, but can also include theft etc. Not everyone is disturbed by them to the point of fixating on them either. Some people know how to let them flow in and back out without giving them power
I guess some people have trouble with impulse control so intrusive thoughts sometimes become actions.

Meh, this one depends on where you lived. We had parties, lots of time with friends and hanging out, plus relationships…it wasn’t until Grade 13 (which was a pre Uni course year) where we had so much homework, especially 3 uni level math course…just doing calculus for hours after school.

Yeah, value of a product is what market will pay. If gov tops up your funds to buy things ( in a free market ) the prices go up. And then if you aren’t focused on just your economy, but global like you mentioned, the global buyers may really want the product, raising price higher, or not want products making unequal trade. I need a “Economic Theory for Five Year Olds” book
I don’t claim to understand economics, but where does this “free” credit come from, how is it sustainable if cost to manufacture is always more than what people have. It seems you just push the difference into a delayed debt.
Meh, I had a great team of pros. They did the main cancer fighting. I just mostly laid in bed feeling tired or in the bathroom vomiting. :)
Get allergy tests. Mine was allergies to pet hair, dust etc. I got a permanent fix unintentionally. Had throat cancer, the chemo and radiation damage drops the mucous creation to about 50%, so post nasal stopped being a problem. LOL
Stop buying take out food. Since pandemic starts we now make all food at home. Last week we were out of town and had to stop on the way home for dinner, two sub’s at subway was $26. Normally that $26 at our local independent grocer gives us more than a week of food.
In good cities (countries) you take a train, and take the bus to the train station, where the bus lowers itself to the pavement so you can wheel right in. I’m guessing you live in USA though.
Well said. Also a Honda and Toyota owner here :). When I started learning Linux there was so much hype around Arch…I installed it and then Meh pretty much like any other Linux, except things weren’t tweaked to function as a cohesive whole. Arch people complaining about btrfs filling drive, or nVidia issues. So I went back to OpenSUSE Leap. It works. Btrfs snapshotting built in to any time you alter system, backend chronjobs for balance and cleanup. nVidia driver hosted directly by nVidia and specific for OpenSUSE. Why would I want life on hard mode.
