I can’t think of any shows that fit the bill that I’d say are my favorite that haven’t already been said. It also doesn’t help that my mind keeps going to Summer Camp Island for the later seasons when they start being less about random adventures and such and focus more on spoilery stuff. I wouldn’t consider it fully kidult (as per OPs description) but more like Bluey in that both kids and adults can enjoy it without the need for stuff flying over a kids head, despite the fact some non-inapproriate things might fly above their head.

Edit: Just read the growing up part. I’d say I was still growing up around 2019 already having graduated highschool and still have some growing up to do, so yeah.

Watched it again last night, but Legend of Hei. Chinese animated film I have on Blu-ray/DVD through Shout! Factory. Love the Chinese dub because I personally don’t like how they use an English translation for a few different characters names. Watched on my Blu-ray player and must say, it’s probably my tv, but I cannot really see is big difference between DVD and Blu-ray. Last movie I watched, let alone original movie.

May be based on an animated web series, but I still consider it original.

I feel as though if you know someone is into something like Lego or something similar, getting them something completely offbrand from somewhere online, not opening the box it was shipped in, and then explaining the post said it was official and that you can’t return it because you ordered it a couple months back could work.

That, or if you are in scouts, you could try and pull what our troop did once for a white elephant gift exchange during one winter court of honor and get rid of an old tent. Our troop got new ones not that long before the event and an old tent was then added as a white elephant gift, probably from our scoutmaster at the time. I ended up trading with one of my friends for that tent rather than the dumb looking card game I had been saddled with. Either way, getting rid of an old tent this way feels a bit insulting to whoever gets it, to me at least.

Having to do yard work or setting up holiday decorations outside. Ever since moving from a house to an apartment, I’ve had zero yard work outside of picking up dog shit when walking my brother’s dogs and the closest I’ve come to holiday decorating is setting up a fake indoor Christmas tree and decorating it.

Used to have to do a lot of leaf picking up and weed pulling growing up. Never liked it and still don’t because of how long it’d take and how I don’t like getting dirt dirty. Also, I was never a massive fan of decorating outside, specifically just Halloween and Christmas, because my family used to have a ton of decorations and my mom always wanted them a certain way, even if that meant taking a few down and moving them. Lots of work over a weekend. Looked good afterwards, but I can’t say I’ve missed putting stuff up. I’ll leave that to other people like the people near me who for some reason still have Halloween decorations up.

Right now it’s probably, assuming it’s using pokemon SDK, Pokemon Empire by Octavius3MC (if I’m correct) on Discord and a talented crew.

Do you like lengthy games fangames like Rejuvenation that have a gym for all types? They got you covered as that’s their whole plan by the time the game is finished.

Do you like the Reborn and Rejuvenation style field effects that can really change how you play against an opponent? They have their own besides the ones from reborn/rejuv.

Do you like more challenging gym leaders than a typical pokemon game? They have it.

Do you like starting with non-starters for your choice of starters? They got you covered.

Do you like fakemon and old pokemon getting new fake evolutions? They have a good enough amount of fakemon spread, with some old pokemon getting evos. Looking at you, [REDACTED] with your patterns.

Do you like not just new moves but also changes to new moves? They got you covered. Splash that lowers accuracy? Sign me up!

Do you like changes to older and newer pokemon to make them feel more balanced for the part of the game you’re in? Check, I’m pretty sure. Things are difficult enough that I can’t tell the difference as a pretty casual pokemon player.

Think fairy type is too OP? For region lore (unless changed or removed) reasons learned in the first city/town from an NPC, normal type is also super effective against fairy.

Everyone either picking films I haven’t seen or pretty good picks from movies I actually remember seeing and I’m out here wondering whether Fievel Goes West would count. Don’t watch many movies anymore, so my movie pool is mostly from memory and I couldn’t tell you what’s actually bad.

Absolute classic.

If anything, I have ever so slightly less problems with billionaires like Gabe Newell (Valve ceo) since he’s doing something constructive (proton/steam deck) that, while it does absolutely help line his pockets, is still helpful to people who play games.

Though on a moral level I personally feel not allowed to like him because he’s a billionaire. That sentiment is spread across all billionaires for me. Either way, in general I don’t like them because 99.9999999% of all billionaires do as much as possible to fuck over literally everyone else.

For the longest time I thought a certain soda I used to drink growing up, Jones Soda, was discontinued until maybe a year or so ago. Found it in a store near where I live and am glad it still exists.

As for something that actually was discontinued/cancelled, my personal pick would probably be Batman Beyond because I really like the idea of the whole Batman of the future being a teenager who has help from an elderly Bruce Wayne and really like the show in general. I also absolutely love the theme song and animation that went with it.

If it allowed me to teleport between dimensions as well, definitely moving to that one parallel Earth where everything is peaceful, prices are cheap, and everything is seemingly perfect (except for the lottery system where a small group of people die if they win in a population control sort of scheme). Don’t take a lot of money and your odds of being picked are low.

Though, if it only worked for this world, probably just use it once to get to the kitchen faster at a random time because I can’t use it to get to college because of my class schedule. That, and I’m pretty sure my parents would find it suspicious if I suddenly teleported to a store and called either needing a ride or they cannot find me, especially if I don’t give them a heads up.

Probably gonna be some people who have heard it statistically, but InsaneJournal (one of those LiveJournal sites that popped up when LJ went closed source from what I understand, IDK, never used LJ because I was too young to care).

If people aren’t a fan of small no-name bands, they might not like these talented groups and their songs, but I’m sure there are people out there who would absolutely love these indie(?) selections. I swear small no-name unrecognized bands have some of the best music.

All the butterfly theory and chaos theory and other such things aside, as messed up as it sounds, probably go back in time to the week before I’m born and find some newborn baby from the 3rd world country who won’t make it more than a few days and remove them. They weren’t gonna live long anyways. Again, messed up, but probably ensures I wouldn’t inadvertently make myself never born.

I’m pretty sure I can find $1 worth of something I’d like, but I cannot right now, so probably if possible just letting that $1 go towards development of something like SuperTuxKart or Shattered Pixel Dungeon each day. Not much, but better than nothing.
