I don’t like being attracted to so many girls. Life would be easier if I could just stop seeing them as sexual when I wanted to. Its actually annoying how a girl can take over an entire scene by just showing up. Ridiculous.

I don’t know why. But I like small firm boobs… Seeing their shapes through clothes is the sexiest to me.
I remember how I thought about this before I went into puberty though. I had no interests in girls at all. And I remember wondering when that would happen.
Then it did happen and boobs became very sexy. So I guess it’s just chemicals in our brains/body causing it.
Many people with depression are helped by ayahusca retreats, but if you feel like a total wreck, it may not be the right choice. Ayahuasca let’s you work on yourself through facing your fears.
You can search YouTube for “ayahuasca experience” and see if it may be something for you. If not, I hope you find some other solution. Depression is hell.
That’s nothing compared to good looks. Opens literally all doors in life. Secret cheat code.
It’s a good attitude to have, to focus on what you have.
I read a book about a holocaust survivor and how little life was worth in the camps. Now I feel genuinely grateful for a warm bed and no wars around here.
Scared of change? This is not just change - we have never had social media algorithms putting shit into people’s head about themselves and others, all day, every single day.
This shit is affecting people’s entire perception of the world and who they are. It’s not just some random change.
I haven’t forgotten being a kid. But when I was growing up, the so called dangers were computer games and too much TV. That was nothing compared to weaponized algorithms picking content that will “engage” people (make them react).
Some kids today are completely out there with pluto man. They just lost any sense of reality. Their entire perception of the world is from social media algorithms from tech companies. That’s one scary thought.
Sure it’s funny with “old man yelling at the cloud”, but there is something here to be concerned about.
Unfortunately we are supposed to be circle jerking the same opinion here, didn’t you get the memo?
Objectively it’s not, since it’s an opinion that comes from you as a consumer.
I think you just want to be protected from opinions of others and you call it chaos because your mind can’t handle it.
And what’s even more interesting, the more sheltered you live your life, the more chaotic you will think the world is.
Good news is that if you stay on Lemmy.world, you will be protected from it. :)
Every time I turn on American news.
I feel the same but ive given up on Lemmy. Probably need to find another platform for more grown up discussions.
Even reddit is far better. Hate to say it but it’s true.
No its just one event. The first time I’ve seen this on Lemmy and I can’t blame people for not being sad about it.
Anything else would be Stockholm syndrome.
Slaves cheering when a slave owner dies seems pretty normal, no?
See you guys next year.
If something is part of the world plan, it’s not going away.
Maybe it’s OK. The big tech sites are anyway becoming mostly ads and Ai content, so it will probably become like cable TV before people just quit it.
Just start with python or node.js and do some tutorial. :) If you want to get good, you should read a book though. There are many details about a language that online tutorials don’t cover.
Maybe you can record a video to show the scrolling features and how you use it?
I’m spending less and less time on the phone now.
I even managed to go on the subway without staring into my phone. 90% of people are on their phones, but some are not.
I did ayahusca about 10 years ago. I had this big desire to figure out why we are here and what’s the point of all the suffering we go through.
I came out of it thinking it’s about soul growth.
No. I would put it under intuition and being present in your life, observing and thinking about events that occur in your life.
I think reasoning is more trying to think logically, and exclude things where you don’t have an objective reason to think it has a meaning.
Yes, often people need to learn through pain how to be a good person. It can be someone who bullied others in school and later realized how much pain they caused and feel severely ashamed by it.
I don’t know about the concept of pure, I don’t think in those terms myself. But we should aspire to make a positive difference in this world. Every time you meet a person, you affect how he or she feels.
