    No matter how good the results seem from the outside, there’s no way to know if the fly, or person, is really “in there”. You lose consciousness, and the simulation wakes up and continues on without you, the rest of the world none the wiser.

      Just like there’s “no way to know” if we already currently live in a simulation. Having some infinite moving goal post isn’t exactly useful.
