FBI officials who searched former President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate in 2022 did not search a locked closet and ā€œhidden roomā€ for White House documents, ABC News reported Thursday, raising questions about whether Trump concealed more classified documents from the federal government.

…

Citing anonymous sources, ABC News reports FBI officials did not search a locked closet—which investigators learned after the search that Trump had changed the lock on months earlier—while his attorney searched the property for classified materials to turn over the government in response to a subpoena.

Investigators found the locked closet, but were reportedly told that the space behind the door ā€œwent nowhereā€ and so decided not to try and open it, according to ABC.

Officials also were not aware at the time of a ā€œhidden roomā€ in Trump’s bedroom, and thus did not search it, ABC reports.

If you’re going to raid someone’s home, and you find evidence that they have been lying to you, why the hell would you listen them when they say ā€œthere’s nothing in this room that we keep locked?ā€

    So bizarre.

There have been accusations that some in the FBI are Trump supporters. Wonder if that played a part

If you’re going to raid someone’s home. why the hell would you listen to a criminal.

you already know they’re untrustworthy, that’s why you’re there in the first place.
