    Looking at other comments, the downvotes seem to be presented without the -1. So maybe that’s how it gets printed when someone downvotes and then changes their mind?

    EDIT: When I downvoted and upvoted this comment back again, downvotes did not go into negative.
    Maybe it happens when downvoter gets banned from community?

      Well like I said, it’s probably a glitch that occurs in rare cases, such as the one you mention, else it would have been noticed. I figured I’d report it. Because the math is right, but there is no such thing as a negative number of countable things.
