It’s just the term is historically associated with physically bringing the vehicle in for repairs. Tesla Stans like to crack jokes about the apps on their phones having “recalls” but recalls pertain specifically to safety concerns. the term “recall” could shake their confidence in the EV industry as a whole Possibly but I’m not really sure what to do about it other than just educating the public.
