Did your parents make it through the closed borders while that happened?
My grandparents came to the U.S. and became citizens through the legal route.
You do realize when people say, “close the border”, the message is to literally close off the U.S. border with a wall. There’s nothing wrong with immigrants coming to this country through the legal channels.
