Kansas Republicans have condemned a fundraiser Friday night where attendees paid to kick and beat an effigy of President Joe Biden, distancing themselves from extremists who have seized control of the party.

      To be fair, no one takes the band that uses a “jizz canon” seriously. But we do take the party of domestic terrorism seriously.

        Yeah I was more pointing out the ridiculousness of the GOP than trying to legitimize GWAR as serious political commentary :)

        Fun fact: they’ve been doing this forever. I saw them in 92 just after Perot joined the race. They only had dummies for Clinton and Bush so they had to scramble to mock up a Perot dummy from spare parts for the show, for which they apologized beforehand. GWAR cares about quality!

      I saw them in '22. They gave Amy Coney Barrett an abortion in effigy, decapitated Biden in effigy, and decapitated Trump in effigy after he vomited shit down effigy Biden’s neck. They’re truly artists
