61·3 days agoMan there is a technology out there that threatens %90 of peoples jobs, the literacy rate of both youth and adults, steals from artists and makes everything worse.
If people don’t stand up against that they won’t stand up for anything. Most people are just cattle at this point.

I have massive respect for the guy. He did so much for the open source community. But for some reason everything he says is interpreted as inarguable truth by most tech guys.
For example his opinions on AI are pure trash and bootlickery. Which is fine anyone can think anything. We just have to think for ourselves a little.

I think ente has been using AI in development for over a year now. I’m paying them because there is no other alternative. The second I have enough spare money to make a homeserver I’m ditching ente.
