Count me in.

BrikoX@lemmy.zipMto Cyberpunk@lemmy.zip•Reignbreaker - new roguelike for fans of HadesEnglish2·2 months agoI really hope it has witty and funny voiced dialogue. That was the major part of Hades success.

BrikoX@lemmy.zipOPto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do you know any independent written news sources?English1·5 months agoMost journalists are still sitting on Twitter or those that got kick out from Twitter are on Nazi infested Substack.
BrikoX@lemmy.zipOPto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Do you know any independent written news sources?English3·5 months agoAny as long as it’s in English.
BrikoX@lemmy.zipOPto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Do you know any independent written news sources?English3·5 months agoI specified written. Independent news commentators are everywhere since video format is still a profitable model, but they all rely on written news sources or random social media posts.

BrikoX@lemmy.zipMto Cyberpunk@lemmy.zip•Tokyo Override (new cyberpunk anime on Netflix, releases Thursday)English1·5 months agoIt gives me the similar vibe of Netflix animation series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers just instead of being US focused its Japan focused.

BrikoX@lemmy.zipOPto Europe@feddit.org•Do we need a European DARPA to cope with technological challenges in Europe?English2·5 months agoEU has Horizon Europe a research and innovation program. And some smaller ones. https://research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu/funding/funding-opportunities/funding-programmes-and-open-calls_en
EU also building the world’s biggest ground laser telescope in cooperation. https://www.eso.org/public/teles-instr/paranal-observatory/vlt/
The issue with EU is that there are so many countries involved that getting everyone on the same page is slow process and with changing local governments projects can be easily abandoned as priorities shift.
Unless you use Monero, it’s not private nor safe.
The only movie I ever gave 10/10. It’s not the best, far from it, but the idea of it is incredible. To this day I haven’t heard of any other movie that explores it this way. I’m sure if I would to rewatch it today my score would be lower, but at the time I have seen it, it left a huge impression.
BrikoX@lemmy.zipMto Cyberpunk@lemmy.zip•The Electric State | Official Teaser (new Netflix movie... cyberpunk or just post-apocalyptic?)English1·6 months agoLately it feels like the definition of the cyberpunk keeps expanding. It has some elements from the trailer like VR helmets and a shot of the evil CEO, but the general vibe feels more like post-cyberpunk.
BrikoX@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•EU considers calculating X fines by including revenue from Musk’s other firmsEnglish1·6 months agoI love how you quoted all the parts expect the one that mentions where for this to even apply the person have to misuse corporate assets in the first place. Follow the law, and you are good in the EU, no matter which size business you are.
If Elon Musk’s rights as a company owner can be violated, who says yours can’t?
Here you go again. If they decide to go through with it, no Musk rights will be violated, there is extensive legal precedent in the EU that covers this.
BrikoX@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•EU considers calculating X fines by including revenue from Musk’s other firmsEnglish3·6 months agoIt can’t be irrelevant as it’s the primary factor in deciding if the fine will even be brought. But ignoring that, there are clear limits. This would only apply to cases where corporate assets were used as personal ones. Hence, the limitation to private companies that have sole owners.
And you talk like this is some novel never heard of approach. Personal liability applies to many actions under the law, just corporations managed to lobby it down for themselves. And your scaremongering of small family business becoming some governments targets are unfounded.
